This pregnancy has flown by faster than I anticipated. It seems like just yesterday I learned that I was pregnant, followed by the most fascinating ultrasound ever, and seeing Arabella's heartbeat for the first time. It then came down to the 10 week count down, and now today, it's the 10 day count down! Where has the time gone? I can honestly say, this has been the most amazing experience I think I've ever encountered and now it's almost over.. with a whole lifetime of parenting to follow!
The past couple of weeks have flown by, with more than enough contractions to scare me into thinking I was in actual labor.. but learning the obvious instead, that it has been nothing more than "false labor." I for one would have thought that Arabella would have made her grand entrance already, with the fast progress she has been making. However, she has not!
I will update her blog and post as many pictures as possible so that everyone can 'ewhh and ahhh' over her, as soon as she does arrive!

"Sippy Cups Are Not for Chardonnay and Other Things I Had To Learn As A New Mom" By Stephanie Wilder-Taylor

So, my very good friend Jessie just recently purchased this amazing book for me, that I feel I must share with EVERYONE! It is absolutely hilarious. Whether you are expecting, would like to be expecting, already a mother, or just up for a good book.. it is a MUST READ!
Once you pick it up, you will not be able to set it down. You will die with laughter and even cry..
Go purchase it!

Thank You!
Thank you to my mom and sister Jessica, for the wonderful outcome of Arabella's baby shower. And thank you to family near and far for being able to make it, it really meant a lot. I was impressed with the turn out, as well as how many gifts we received. I'm proud to say that I think we're set until she's at least a year! Between clothing and all the necessary items that she'll be going through, I am over loaded.. but in no way complaining!
The support and comfort that you all have shown, since the day I arrived has been amazing and I am so thankful to have all of you as my family. Whether you've contributed something large or small, to help the transition of me relocating, it has meant the world to me. There are not enough thank yous to express my appreciation for everything that everyone has done to help out.

30 Week Check Up!

All good to go with our new midwife and hospital. The facility is amazing and the staff and support in the area is more than impressive! A brand new birthing center was recently added to the location so we are more than enough prepared with options here. One of which... WATER BIRTH! I'm ectactic and have always visualized this delivery to be a water birth. With more options available, the vision will be created now!
With only 10 weeks left, the excitement is building up and more and more preparation is unfolding. My Aunt Sarah has been attending my Pre-Delivery Education classes with me, as she will helping with the delivery (being a nurse and all). So we're having lots of fun with that! More and more packages keep arriving from friends all over... so thank you very much, as I know you won't be able to attend the shower that's coming up on the 25th.
And... to save the best for last! Arabella is growing fast with her approximate weight being 3lbs/4oz. AND is ALREADY continuously receiving complements about her beautiful profile, long legs, and plump kissy lips! Ha ha! Wow am I going to have my hands full!

Arabella's Blog

I've started a blog for Arabella so that our family and friends that reside all over can keep themselves updated for the next couple of months until she arrives. Now being 27 weeks along, and her due date falling on December 16th, 2008, there is not that much time left before she arrives to meet the world!
As time goes by, I will post new active information as well as photos upon her arrival. Please feel free to leave any comments or questions about Arabella!
